Jeri Justice-Lusher ~ Design Artist
Jeri’s cousin Rachel Moormeier came to her with a vision and a plan to open a high end salon with a personal touch. A perfect fit for Jeri’s own philosophy she brought her career to Salon Voda. Jeri has passion and enthusiasm for her work and it shows in the care she takes with each and every client. She has been creating fabulous hair styles for over 20 years, starting her career at Gene Juarez as a cutting specialist. Continued technical training and extensive education have allowed Jeri to customize each service for her ever growing list of clients.
Christian Traynor ~ Design Artist/ Color Technician
Since 1994, Christian has combined his skills and talents to create hair styles that are "most talked about" for clients in every salon where he has practiced his art. Christian started his career with 'Russell's Salon and Day Spa' where he began to develop his skills as a Stylist and Color Technician. Prior to that Christian graduated from Seattle Central Community College school of Cosmetology, a pivot point school with an advance cosmetology license. Always learning new skills drives Christian to becoming the best stylist that he can be. "I continued my training as an apprentice at Russell's for a year learning advance techniques and the latest hair trends. Throughout my career I have combined education and experience to develop my own unique style. Rest assured when you sit in my chair I'll bring all of my experience, education, and stylistic talents to make you look and feel fabulous!" ~ Christian

'Long hair glamour' and women who want to make a sexy statement at any age are part of the vision Jesse has been creating over the past eighteen years. Gene Juarez training and employment gave her the experience and confidence to be the Designer she is today and Salon Voda is where she found her Family! Tomboy though she was, hair was a means of expression at an early age. Jesse loved styling hair and never thought she'd be in the industry, but her mother gave her a choice and Jesse chose Beauty School instead of college. "Styling got me here, but color is my inspiration. I am bold and fearless with color and my traveling experience in Italy, France, and the Mediterranean keeps a classic perspective as well. My goal is to give my client a younger look, a sense of attraction, and a vibrancy that takes hold inside to instill complete confidence. My faith, my son Gabriel, and my family ground me. Gabriel puts a smile on my face and gives me a fresh new outlook on life every day. I love being surrounded by talented and positive artists who encourage my creativity to come to life." ~ Jesse
Elaine Dong ~ Design Artist
Elaine, a Seattle native has been styling hair for over five years. Elaine has many specialties, such as haircuts with lots of texture and dimension. She also enjoys custom color and permanent straightening services. Outside of work her passions are water sports, snowboarding, and volunteering at Children's Hospital. Elaine is currently building her clientele and would love to meet you and offer expert advice with a free consultation.

"Whether it be a Color, Cut, or just a Style; the best part of my job is making sure that you leave looking and feeling better than you did coming in." Natasha, a graduate of Quality Beauty College in Olympia, WA, customizes every Color, Cut, and Style to fit flawlessly with skin tone and face shape to enhance one's own personal style. She first started styling hair when she was just sixteen and while she was in school, Natasha interned at Salon Bellezza under the guidance of the owner, Susan. After Graduation, she was offered a position and chair at her salon. After working with Susan for over a year, Natasha felt the desire to move to Seattle in order to build a more successful career. Finding Salon Voda has enabled her vision and continued her success.
John "Jack" Walker ~ Design Artist
Jack's interest in hair cutting began when he was 13. Unable to find a Stylist willing to cut his hair in the style that he was seeking, Jack began to cut his own and many of his friends' hair. After a stint in college, Jack realized that his interest in hair was worth pursuing as a career. Moving to Seattle from San Francisco led him to working for G.J. and becoming a Cutting Specialist. After nearly 15 years of cutting hair exclusively within that company, Jack brings his experience, professionalism, knowledge, and artistry to Salon Voda. "I am excited to meet and assist you with your self-image and in enhancing your appearance. As a Design Specialist, I work well with all types and textures of hair." ~ Jack
Deidre "Gigi" Carvey ~ Color Specialist / Sugaring Specialist
Gigi started her career over 14 years ago as a Color Specialist and her passion for her craft has lead her to work with World-Class Teams such as Toni & Guy, Yosh, Vidal Sasson, Ruth Roche, and Vivienne MacKinder. She has also been a Featured Colorist on TLC's "A Makeover Story" and an educator for L'Oreal Professionnel. Gigi is now a proud member of the Salon Voda Team
-referring any Clients for haircuts to Jack. Furthering her interest in the industry, Gigi's obtained her esthetician license and also offers Facials and Sugaring, a form of hair removal, to her Clients. Dr. Shahram Salemy ~ Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, Advanced Skin Care Therapist
Dr. Salemy has recently joined us to provide Advanced Skin Care Rejuvenation Techniques, including Botox Cosmetic, Lip Enhancement, Nonsurgical Browlift, Nonsurgical Facial Enhancement, Liquid Skin Tightening, and several other non-invasive skin care treatments. A Graduate of Yale University and Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Salemy has been named "One of America's Top Plastic Surgeons" each year since 2006 by the Consumers' Research Council of America. After completing his plastic surgery training at the University of Washington, Dr. Salemy practiced cosmetic surgery in Washington DC, where in 2009 has was named "one of the 250 most influential people in Washington DC under the age of 40" by Washington Life Magazine. He has recently returned back to Seattle and has formed a unique and exciting relationship with us at Salon Voda.
Tess Williams ~ Nail Designer/ Nail Techician/ Skin Care Therapist/Esthetician
Tess hails from Eastern Washington in Spokane bringing Salon Voda over twenty years of nail experience.
She specializes in enhancements of all of varieties like silk, fiberglass, gel, and creating beautifully
sculpted natural looking nails with the Creative Nail Design (CDN's) forever french pink and white acrylic
system. In fact, Tess traveled all over both Oregon and Washington to become one of the first certified
CND Master Nail Technicians on our state. With a practical no nonsense approach to nails;
she gets the job done all with hand filing; what some would even call a lost art with the over use of
drills in the nail industry. Experience the true artistry of hand filing. Formerly of Gene Juarez,

Katje Fiala ~ Massage Therapist
Katje is passionate about the positive effects of therapy on the body and mind.She has followed her passion since graduating with honors from Ashmead School of Massage in Seattle, Washington in 2004. Katje is licensed by the state of Washington, nationally certified and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. Katje's favorite modalities are including but not limited to- Swedish,DeepTissue,TriggerPoint, PNF Stretching, Accupressure, LymphaticDrainage, Myofascial Release and Hot Stone Therapy which she integrates to intentionally create a massage that will suit your specific needs. Katje believes every massage should be unique to each body's needs and diligently endeavor's to fulfill those needs in each of her clients.
Janna Hendrix ~ Skin Care Therapist/Esthetician, Airbrush Tanning Technician
Janna is a graduate from Greenwood Academy in Seattle, WA and has been practicing Aesthetics since 2008. She uses a full spectrum approach to Skin Care and has a passion for Skin, Health, and Long-term Skin Care maitenance. Long term goals for Janna would be to some day move into the medical grade spa work and education, continuing to spread her love of Skin Science.
